Ibarra
Child & Adolescent Center
Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Marlene Ibarra is a bilingual provider (English & Spanish) who graduated from National University. She completed her practicum at Scripps Bereavement Hospice Program. Marlene describes her therapeutic style as follows: "My therapeutic approach is to provide “personhood” to my clients. Not being above or below them, the “know-it-all or healed one” but a supportive figure on their side in this part of their life journey. I am an eager learner; I am always investing in training to further my knowledge, understanding, and ability to help my clients. I believe in innovation and staying up to date with today’s cutting-edge therapies. My style is direct and kind. As a clinician, my goals are to make my clients feel safe and heard while creating insight. My hopes are that through our work, my clients will gain tools to relieve them from their symptoms and distress. I am honored to be here."
