The quality of care we give to our patients is our first priority. To that end, PCSD has created a department of Quality Management Improvement (QMI).

The objective of this department is to establish and maintain processes for the identification and review of quality of services.

Among the functions of the Quality Management Improvement (QMI) are Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, Risk Management and Continuing Medical Education.

The QMI Committee reviews and analyzes data derived from Quality Improvement studies from:

Patient Complaints
Patient Satisfaction
Survey Results
Adverse Clinical Incidents

The QMI Committee is continuously improving PCSD policies and procedures thereby improving the quality of services to our patients and our referral sources. PCSD fully complies with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) written guidelines.
