All PCSD psychiatrists are required to pursue Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Many hold as well subspecialty board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Chemical Dependency.

Our clinicians have trained at prestigious medical education institutions. The list includes Washington University at St. Louis, University of California San Diego, The University of Michigan, Ohio State University, The University of Cincinnati, Johns Hopkins University, The University of Wisconsin, and The University of Toronto, to name a few.

Several of our psychiatrists and therapists are multilingual. In addition to English, psychiatric services are available in Arabic, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Hebrew, Italian, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

The majority of our psychiatrists hold academic appointments at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.
